Job Summary:
Salter Grange Limited is partnering with a leading international Engineering company to recruit a Head of Commissioning to join their busy Hyperscale division in Mainland Europe, with a focus on France.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project delivery and extensive knowledge of complex Mechanical and Electrical systems, preferably in Data Centres.
As a key member of the team, the Head of Commissioning will be responsible for overseeing all commissioning activities on-site, including planning, management, and project closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of direct reports and supervise the Commissioning Tagging process and procedures.
- Provide regular progress reports internally and externally, and lead weekly commissioning meetings and guide weekly commissioning activities.
- Facilitate daily whiteboard meetings on commissioning and attend weekly commissioning meetings with the Main Contractor and clients, reporting weekly progress.
- Develop the Project commissioning schedule in collaboration with project planners and ensure accurate tracking of the testing and commissioning workforce using site Labor Allocation Tracker sheets, issued daily.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Relevant technical and Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or industry-recognised qualifications.
- Experience working for a reputable MEP contractor or General Contractor.
