Job Title: Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a rapidly growing contractor with key long-term clients involved in new build and refurbishment/maintenance works.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Commercial Management: Lead the commercial management of multiple sites to maximize cash flow and margins.
  2. Pricing and Variations: Manage pricing and variations accounts both upstream and downstream.
  3. Commercial Issues: Resolve commercial issues and provide commercial and contractual expertise to the project team.
  4. Client Liaison: Liaise with clients and provide commercial and contractual expertise.
  5. Site Delivery: Liaise and coordinate with the site delivery team to collate information on a day-to-day basis.
  6. Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractors and provide commercial and contractual expertise.
  7. Change Management: Manage change and provide early warnings.
  8. Contract Administration: Administer contracts (JCT and NEC).
  9. Cash Flow Forecasting: Manage cash flow forecasting and reconciliation.
  10. Experience: Experience of working on social housing refurbishment projects and measured term contracts.
