Role Summary

As a Senior Sales Estimator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of projects by providing precise cost assessments and engaging with architects and clients regarding their proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and present accurate cost assessments for both restoration and new construction initiatives.
  • Examine project drawings and specifications to ascertain material needs and quantities.
  • Conduct site visits to collect essential information for cost evaluations.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, and engineers.
  • Ensure that estimates align with surveyor take-offs.
  • Report directly to the Sales Director while working closely with the Contracts Director and Production Team to facilitate a smooth project transition once it commences.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience as a surveyor or estimator within the construction or restoration sectors, particularly with main contractors in related fields such as stonework and cladding.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet stringent deadlines.
