We are partnering with a well-established Food business to recruit a Head of Buying - Food for their global purchasing operations.
This newly created role will involve leading the sourcing and negotiation of finished goods, establishing excellent relationships with the supply base, and developing procurement strategies that align with the business and customer needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:- Select and manage suppliers through identification, evaluation, quality control, and risk assessment, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
- Develop and implement global procurement strategies, optimising cost through negotiation of contracts, terms, and pricing.
- Mentor and develop a team of buyers to excel in procurement practices and support strategic objectives.
Our client is based in Surrey and requires 4 days in the office a week, with Fridays working from home. Beaumont Select is a leading Supply Chain & Purchasing Recruitment Agency, supporting a primarily blue-chip client base with experienced Supply Chain & Purchasing Professionals.
