Mechanical Technician

At NOV Inc, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and manufacturing of our products.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate designated machines safely and efficiently, ensuring adherence to HSE and housekeeping standards.
- Complete schedules, sequences, and assignments for assembly line activities.
- Carry out work instructions as given by Cell Leader, work specifications, and equipment operation.
- Monitor and control materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or faults.
- Maintain assembly line performance standards by monitoring gauges, dials, and other indicators.
- Check work via use of gauges, visuals, and measuring tools.
- Maintain an organized and visual workspace.
- Generate and implement improvement ideas and encourage idea generation among team members.
- Evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
- Time-served apprenticeship or HNC in a relevant subject.
- Higher education in a relevant subject (desirable).
- Working knowledge within an assembly and manufacturing environment, including the preparation of components.
- Background in a mechanical-based profession (desirable).
- Computer literacy, including good command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to operate basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
