About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Business Services and Outsourcing team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality financial reporting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including statutory accounts and management accounts, to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored financial reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior managers, directors, and partners to identify opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial reporting regulations and standards, ensuring our clients receive the best possible advice.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with experience in financial reporting and accounting services.
  • Excellent working knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS, with the ability to research technical accounting matters.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality financial reporting services to clients subject to audit.
  • Experience in the use of Caseware and/or other relevant accounts production software.
