Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hygiene Operative. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our mill.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve the cleanliness of the mill, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all staff.
  • Liaise with team leaders, operatives, maintenance staff, drivers, and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development of skills and knowledge in poultry processing, in line with our competency framework.
  • Work to reduce negative environmental impact by implementing waste reduction and recycling initiatives.
  • Assist with yard duties, ensuring the yard is kept clean and free from spillages.
  • Monitor the microbiological status of the mill, working closely with our laboratory team.
