Senior Lecturer in Chinese

The Senior Teaching Fellow in Chinese will provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students, including the development and preparation of materials and assessment of students.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Chinese language and culture, with experience in teaching and learning at a higher education level.
They will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, including lectures, tutorials, and assessments, and will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
The Senior Teaching Fellow will also contribute to the development of the School's research and knowledge exchange activities, and will engage with external partners and stakeholders to promote the School's work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and assess Chinese language acquisition modules
- Develop and prepare teaching materials
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and implementation
- Engage with external partners and stakeholders
Requirements:
- PhD in Chinese language and culture or a related field
- Experience in teaching and learning at a higher education level
- Strong background in Chinese language and culture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
