Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HLTA to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes
• Monitor pupils and assess, record and report on pupils' achievement, progress and development
• Work collaboratively with teachers to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
• Provide support and guidance to pupils with additional or special needs
• Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with pupils, teachers and parents

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Over 3 months experience in a similar role where you covered and taught whole classes
• Good knowledge of the national curriculum
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Excellent ICT competency in all Microsoft Packages and a working knowledge of Apple systems
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team
• Ability to work in a highly pressured environment to meet demands and deadlines
