About the Role

The Telegraph's Production team is actively seeking freelancers with experience in both digital and print media production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all content produced for The Telegraph, whether for online platforms or print, meets the highest standards of quality and is delivered promptly.
  • Work effectively in a dynamic and often high-pressure environment, demonstrating exceptional production skills.
  • Publish multiple stories per shift with creativity and meticulous attention to detail.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to create compelling headlines and identify as well as correct potential errors.
  • Proficiency in editing sub copy quickly and accurately.
  • Strong presentation skills for both print and digital formats, including the creation of headlines, captions, graphics, interactives, and image selection.

Experience

Ideal candidates will have a background in production from regional, trade, or national publications. We welcome applications from individuals with experience across various sectors, including News, Features, Supplements, Business, and Sport.

Working Hours

Shifts typically run from the afternoon into the evening, with a variety of start times available throughout the week.
