The Forward Trust Careers is seeking a skilled Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team in providing mental health services in prisons across Hertfordshire, Essex, and Suffolk. With over 25 years of experience in supporting individuals to build positive and productive lives, we are committed to delivering high-quality services that make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess service users' suitability for evidence-based psychological interventions for common mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.
  • Deliver low-level psychological step 2 interventions to adults on an individual face-to-face basis or through facilitating therapeutic groups.
  • Contribute to team performance and delivery of a responsive, high-quality service in line with IAPT requirements.
  • Participate in case management and line management supervision to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Strong relationships with colleagues in the unit and ability to make full use of support.
  • Active participation in team performance and delivery of a responsive, high-quality service.
