Sopra Steria Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Splunk Engineer to join our Cyber Security Operations team in the Aerospace, Defence and Security Sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the health of our Security technology stack, implementing and assisting SOC Analysts in support of MSSP services, and supporting incidents across all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the health of our Security technology stack, including SIEM, Threat Intelligence platforms, and Malware analysis tools.
  • Implement and assist SOC Analysts in support of MSSP services, including incident response, code/malware analysis, and effective SIEM design, setup, configuration, and tuning.
  • Perform extensive solving of security and SIEM-based technologies, including Splunk, in our rapidly paced SOC environment.
  • Collaborate with senior-level engineers to design, develop, and deploy digital solutions to Central Government clients.
  • Participate in professional development activities, coach and mentor colleagues, and share knowledge and learning with the team.

Requirements:

  • Senior-level experience in Splunk, SIEM, and Threat Intelligence platforms.
  • Strong technical analytical skills and ability to provide accurate analysis of vendor-related and security-related problems.
  • Well-rounded networking background and experience with AWS and Azure.
  • Hold appropriate certifications, including firsthand experience using AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with Azure Sentinel or IBM QRadar.
