The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Group Reservations Agent to join our team at Alexander Hotels Group. As a key member of our reservations team, you will be responsible for handling telephone enquiries and administering guest bedroom bookings from enquiry to confirmation.
Key Responsibilities
- Enquiry handling on the telephone, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for our guests.
- Providing information on bedroom and spa availability, as well as rate structure across our five hotels.
- Inputting reservations for bedroom, spa, restaurant, and lounge bookings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Liaising with the Group Spa Reservations/Spa Reception team for beauty treatment requests.
- Administering bookings and actioning accurate and timely confirmations to all guests, both online and offline.
Requirements
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
- Computerised reservation experience, preferably in a hospitality or hotel environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work a 5-day rota, including weekend shifts, with one weekend off in three.
