Facilities Maintenance Lead - FM Service Provider – Commercial Property

We are excited to present a significant role with a leading FM Service Provider. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently in search of a Facilities Maintenance Lead to oversee operations on a commercial property. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical or mechanical background and a successful history in the maintenance of commercial facilities. You will manage a team of up to 5 technicians, ensuring the smooth operation of the contract, which includes hard services, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and reactive maintenance under the guidance of the Contract Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Lead a team of up to 5 maintenance technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards across the property.
  • Implement and uphold quality procedures on site.
  • Facilitate the professional development of all team members, including conducting annual performance reviews.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through daily interactions.
  • Manage all reporting requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance to both clients and the engineering team.
  • Oversee the permit management system.
  • Participate in client meetings.
  • Procure necessary parts and materials.
Working Hours

Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm

Qualifications
  • Degree or certification in an engineering discipline (Electrical or Mechanical); C&G, HNC, HND or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing an engineering team.
  • Demonstrated success in commercial property maintenance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of staff and clients.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize a diverse workload.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
  • Must be able to pass security clearance.
