Job Title: Field Electrical Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Electrical Service Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment. As a Field Electrical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert electrical service and repair to specialist machine tooling used within the aviation industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in field-based servicing and a passion for aviation. You will be required to travel internationally, with the possibility of staying away for up to 3 weeks at a time. You will be expected to arrange your own flights and hotels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert electrical service and repair to specialist machine tooling used within the aviation industry
  • Travel internationally, with the possibility of staying away for up to 3 weeks at a time
  • Arrange your own flights and hotels
  • Offer excellent customer service and demonstrate patience when required
Requirements:
  • Qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with a passion for aviation
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Advantageous to hold a recognised engineering apprenticeship
  • Previous experience within field-based servicing is essential
  • Must be happy to travel internationally and ideally have experience of working internationally
Remuneration:
  • Salary: £42,586.44 per annum with overtime paid at basic rate over a 37-hour week (pay reviewed annually)
  • OTE £60,000 - £70,000
  • Working hours: 37-hour week
  • Holiday Package: 25 days + 8BH
  • Company vehicle, laptop and phone are provided
  • All hours are paid from the moment you leave your house until you return home - this includes flights
  • Travel bonus paid if you are away from base for 21 days and over
  • Generous subsistence allowance
  • Pension
