Lead Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team at ApplauseIT Recruitment Ltd. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, building, and deploying new products and features for our expanding customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive technological advancements with DevOps tools such as Chef, Vagrant, Kubernetes, Terraform, Packer, and Docker.
  • Contribute to our recruitment campaigns and promotion processes.
  • Work on meaningful projects in a collaborative and supportive workspace that promotes flexible working.
  • Benefit from e-learning subscriptions, monthly down-tools day, and communities of practice.
  • Join in our regular social events, including bake-offs, office parties, sporting events, and more.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced Java developer with a passion for Agile development and XP practices such as TDD. You should have strong technical and interpersonal skills, be an enthusiastic coach eager to mentor and develop others, and be proactive and inquisitive, ready to challenge the norm and improve our processes.
