Prestige Recruitment Specialists is seeking a skilled Production/Packing Operative to join their team at Cranswick Pet Products in Lincolnshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and hardworking individual to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, packing processed animal food to the required finished standard. The successful candidate will be responsible for running a packing line, including product feed, bagging, technical checks, and recording palletization, ensuring the finished product is transferred to the warehouse via FLT.

The ideal candidate will have a manufacturing background, preferably in food, pet food, or FMCG, and hold a Food Safety L2 certification. Awareness of BRC and IOSH Working Safely is also desirable. A can-do attitude, honesty, and empathy are essential, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.

The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team, working under the direction of the Shift Manager and Lead Operative Packing. Main Responsibilities:

  • Running a packing line, including product feed, bagging, technical checks, and recording palletization
  • Creating stock (finished product and WIP) on CEMEX (stock system)
  • Capture, segregation, and transfer of waste for rework
  • Clean as you go, and wider site cleaning as and when required

Requirements:

  • Manufacturing background, preferably in food, pet food, or FMCG
  • Food Safety L2 certification
  • Awareness of BRC and IOSH Working Safely
  • Can-do attitude, honesty, and empathy
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
