About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Performance and Business Intelligence Unit at Essex County Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality insights and data-driven recommendations to support informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver management information using software such as Excel and Power BI
  • Work with stakeholders, analysts, and developers to build a compelling picture of business performance
  • Use a range of analytical techniques to provide high-quality findings and recommendations
  • Embed an evidence and data-driven ethos across our services to support sustainable services and best practice
Requirements
  • Experience and knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analytical tools
  • Proven track record of producing recommendations that inspire improvements
  • Ability to communicate complex messages simply
