Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join our team at Freight Personnel. As a key member of our European Road Freight team, you will be responsible for coordinating the export of road freight consignments to and from the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quoting customers for freight services
  • Liaising with customers, agents, and overseas offices to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • Preparing and processing export documentation to enable trailers to transit UK ports and Europe
  • Load planning and coordinating with hauliers to ensure timely delivery of consignments
  • Providing excellent customer service and support

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in freight forwarding or a related field
  • Good level of education and strong communication skills
  • Good telephone manner and computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and pressurized environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £25,000 - £30,000
  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch
  • Pension scheme

  • Annual bonus scheme based on company performance
