A highly skilled Electrical Control Systems Engineer is required to join our team at Automation Experts Ltd. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of Health and Safety.
The Role:
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project proposals, including budget estimates and timelines.
- Create comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Identify and allocate project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Identify potential project risks, developing robust risk mitigation strategies.
- Review and approve engineering design documents, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams as needed.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience delivering EC&I projects to a high standard.
- Stakeholder management experience.
- IOSH Managing Safely, ECS H&S card, Asbestos Awareness, First Aid (preferred).
- Proficiency in project management software, i.e., MS Project or Primavera.
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of automation, process control, OT, control panel design, and instrumentation principles/practices.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.

This role is based in Fife, with hybrid and flexible working offered as standard. Once you are trained, you will split your time between client sites, office, and home working. Sites are generally within 2 hours of the office, and there is minimal working away from home with this position.
