Our Paediatric Unit includes MacGregor Ward, featuring 17 inpatient Paediatric beds, High Dependency Beds, a dedicated Paediatric Outpatient Area, and a 5-bedded Paediatric Assessment Unit (PAU).

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Associate, you will possess a broad knowledge base in nursing and caregiving, providing holistic and person-centered support to individuals across various age groups in diverse environments. Under the guidance of registered nurses, you will play a crucial role in all facets of the nursing process.

Nurse Associates adhere to a nationally recognized code of conduct and possess the requisite knowledge, skills, and attitudes for this role. Effective communication, empathy, and relationship management are critical components of this position.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Qualifications:

  • GCSE level A - C in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Nursing Associate Foundation Degree/Higher Apprenticeship

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in healthcare
