The Role - Air Conditioning Engineer (Service & Maintenance)

You will be covering multiple sites across East Anglia & Essex as part of a large team, delivering Air Conditioning servicing & maintenance to both commercial and domestic clients.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  2. Perform PPM & Reactive maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration systems
  3. Service and maintain split systems, VRV's and VRF's
  4. Utilize electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment
  5. Apply extensive building services knowledge to ensure proper servicing and maintenance of equipment
  6. Provide a professional service and represent the company in a way that ensures customer satisfaction
  7. Ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out
  8. Pro-actively address concerns and relay them to management as necessary
  9. Complete all necessary documents and records maintained

Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. Fgas 2079 Cat 1 certification is essential
  2. NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration & Air conditioning is a minimum requirement, with NVQ Level 3 Refrigeration & Air conditioning being desirable but not essential
  3. NVQ / City & Guilds - Electrical Engineering is desirable but not essential
  4. Daikin & Mitsubishi AC system knowledge is an advantage
  5. 2 - 5 years of experience in the field
  6. A full UK driving license with a clean record is required
  7. Some working and staying away from home will be required
