About the Role
The Vicarage Lane Surgery is seeking a skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join our team. As a Salaried GP, you will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload and providing medical care and services to our practice population.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse range of health needs, including surgery and telephone consultations, home visits, and administration.
- Comply with the practice's contracts, GMS enhanced services, and the education and training of junior/trainee clinical staff.
- Develop care plans, provide counselling and health education, and prescribe medication as necessary.
- Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems, and screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
- Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards, and collect data for audit purposes.

The Vicarage Lane Surgery is a friendly and supportive GP Surgery team located in the heart of East London. We have a mixture of professional staff, including GPs, nurses, HCA's, clinical pharmacists, ANP's, and a supportive administrative team. We offer high levels of support and training development, and study leave can be provided.
