  • Demonstrated sales proficiency, especially in cultivating relationships, closing transactions, and managing objections from pharmacy clients
  • A history of achieving key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Robust analytical skills
  • A university degree is preferred but not essential
  • A proactive and enthusiastic self-starter who can navigate change effectively
  • Previous experience selling to pharmacists and pharmacy staff (not mandatory)
  • Experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector (not required)

Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Employing sales strategies to enhance sales and market share in pharmacies within your designated territory to fulfill annual sales targets
  • Conducting training sessions on product knowledge and sales techniques for pharmacists and their teams
  • Securing endorsements for products by influencing pharmacist practices
  • Negotiating for improved product availability and 'over-the-counter' sales in crucial pharmacy areas
  • Engaging in discussions for optimal shelf placement within stores to maximize brand visibility and coordinate off-location displays with major accounts
  • Collaborating with your Medical Sales counterpart to orchestrate key events that drive referrals and growth within the pharmacy sector
  • Working in tandem with Key Account Representatives to secure sales within major pharmacy chains
  • Participating in trade exhibitions and industry conferences
