Job Title: Experienced Loading Shovel Driver

FM Conway is seeking a skilled Loading Shovel Driver to join our Aggregate and Asphalt division based in Heathrow. As a full-time, permanent employee, you will work Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 16:00.

The Loading Shovel Driver Role

As our Loading Shovel Driver, you will be responsible for operating the loading shovel and mobile plant equipment, assisting with the production of asphalt, and performing daily checks and maintenance on all mobile plant. You will also operate other items of mobile plant, such as a telehandler and MEWP, and control the dispatching of orders.

Responsibilities
  1. Operate the loading shovel and mobile plant equipment safely and efficiently.
  2. Assist with the production of asphalt through the loading of materials into the asphalt plant.
  3. Perform daily checks and basic maintenance on all mobile plant, reporting any defects accurately and in a timely manner.
  4. Operate other items of mobile plant, such as a telehandler and MEWP.
  5. Control the dispatching of orders and liaise with the commercial team.
  6. Perform daily housekeeping duties as required.
Requirements
