About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our team in Livingston Design Centre. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading cross-discipline product development projects, specializing in hardware, software, or systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to teams, ensuring overall technical success on large global projects.
  • Manage technical risks and scope changes, developing risk reduction concepts and proposals.
  • Develop and evaluate technical concepts, making informed technical decisions.
  • Mentor and coach technical teams across multiple projects and sites.
  • Conduct project reviews, develop proposals, and create solution concepts to overcome project deficits and risks.
  • Prepare project status reports and customer presentations.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop offers for product development projects.
  • Engage in customer discussions to clarify project goals and technical requirements.
  • Drive global Continuous Improvement initiatives to ensure best practices are adopted throughout the organization.
  • Represent engineering at company-wide strategy conferences and management meetings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10-15+ years of related experience.
