Senior Theatre Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our client's Theatre department at The Runnymede Hospital in Chertsey. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £45,199 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.
About the RoleAs a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic, you will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase. You will support and coordinate the management and organisation of care within the operating department, provide clinical and managerial leadership to ensure quality patient care, and drive patient care delivery during specified periods.

- Ensure adherence to patient safety policies.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
- Promote best evidence-based practices within your scope.
- Apply relevant legislation, policies, and procedures correctly.
The Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic role comes with a comprehensive package, including:

The ideal person for the Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic role should have:
- Registration with NMC or HCPC.
- Post-registration qualification relevant to the specialty, such as Advanced Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant.
- Approved/recognised anaesthetic course.
- ILS certification.
- Orthopaedic skills.
- Mentorship and ILM3 qualifications.
- Experience in an acute healthcare environment.
- Experience in managing and leading a clinical team.
