Job Title: CCTV Operator

We are seeking a skilled CCTV Operator to join our team at OCS Group. As a CCTV Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers, staff, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor CCTV systems in a systematic and organized manner to detect and respond to potential security threats.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders via the FM Radio System and Intercom.
  • Manage life safety systems, including fire alarms, intruder systems, and sprinkler systems.
  • Initiate actions to protect life and property in response to life safety system alerts.
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors, retailers, and contractors.
  • Accurately record events, incidents, and evacuations in the occurrence book.
  • Produce reports on false alarms and response times.
  • Undertake first aid at work training and adhere to health and safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required by senior staff members.
Requirements:
  • Education to O'Level/GCSE or NVQ level 3 standard.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
  • Valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) Licence.
  • First Aid at Work Certificate.
  • SIA Guarding or Door Supervisors licence.
  • IOSH managing safely certification.
  • Experience in a similar environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good I.T skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Multitasking skills.
