Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Control Room Engineer to join our Onshore Control Centre in Perth, Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for real-time operational control and asset intervention management of our Onshore Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Fleet monitoring in real-time, responding to High Voltage and Plant/Apparatus changes and alarms.
- Liaising with System Operators, Transmission Operators, and Distribution Network Operators to issue/receive/respond to instructions and safely perform operations across boundaries.
- Ensuring timely and effective disclosure of asset availability, enabling maximum value from our energy portfolio while maintaining Energy Market Integrity and Transparency.
Requirements
- Experience within a control room environment and/or as an Electrical Field Engineer, with responsibilities aligned with those detailed above.
- Experience of Electro-mechanical generating Plant/Apparatus, ideally within the Energy sector.
- Ability to adapt to changing workloads positively without compromising key responsibilities, to be flexible, highly motivated, and have a genuine passion for the industry.
