About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at Advance. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, and mental health conditions to live the lives they choose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene as needed
  • Administer medication as required
  • Support with meal preparation and cooking
  • Accompany individuals to medical appointments
  • Engage in social activities and support independent skills
  • Contribute to domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
  • Maintain accurate records and update care plans as necessary
  • Stay up-to-date with training and professional development
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to complete high-quality support records
  • Flexibility to work every other weekend
  • Availability to work between 7am and 10:30pm
  • Ability to follow support plans and risk assessments
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills in English
  • Willingness to achieve the Care Certificate
