We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at Advance. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, and mental health conditions to live the lives they choose.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with personal care and hygiene as needed
- Administer medication as required
- Support with meal preparation and cooking
- Accompany individuals to medical appointments
- Engage in social activities and support independent skills
- Contribute to domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
- Maintain accurate records and update care plans as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with training and professional development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to complete high-quality support records
- Flexibility to work every other weekend
- Availability to work between 7am and 10:30pm
- Ability to follow support plans and risk assessments
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills in English
- Willingness to achieve the Care Certificate
