Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Legal Costs to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our business and helping us achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Management
    • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
    • Manage and analyze financial data to inform business decisions and optimize financial performance.
  • Cost Management
    • Oversee the preparation of bills and schedules of costs for detailed assessment by the Court or Arbitration Tribunal.
    • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of financial professionals to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional results.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to build trust and loyalty.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in claimant costs, including supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including an in-depth knowledge of Costsmaster.
  • A strong billing track record.
