Job Title: SHE Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SHE Advisor to join our team at Atlas Recruitment Group Ltd. As a SHE Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our clients' employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and consistent advice, support, coaching, and governance of SHE standards and legislation to support all activities across the site.
  • Support audits and accident/near miss investigations, producing comprehensive reports with root cause analysis.
  • Interpret and apply formal Regulations, Approved Codes of Practice, and Guidance (e.g., SHE regulations).
  • Drive a safety culture and promote a positive health and safety mindset among employees and contractors.
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate health and safety risks.

Requirements:

  • Practical experience of supporting the management of Health and Safety risks and/or processes in a high-risk environment.
  • Competent with CDM regulations 2015.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder interaction, report writing, and investigative skills.
  • Proven background of driving a safety culture.
  • Proven experience of using IT, such as MS Office packages.
  • NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.
  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety or equivalent.
