We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Surbiton Ewell Road Day Nursery and Preschool.
About the RoleAs an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing engaging activities tailored to each child's needs, promoting their development towards key milestones. You will also develop and maintain strong parent/carer partnerships, ensuring child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement engaging activities for children, promoting their development and well-being.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe, healthy, and stimulating, adhering to all relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or similar setting.
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and relevant legislative requirements.
