We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Supply Desk. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs and Learning Disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nurturing and patient support to pupils with complex learning difficulties
- Communicate effectively with parents and teachers to ensure seamless support
- Plan and deliver individualized programs to meet the unique needs of each pupil
- Support pupils on a 1:1, small group, and classroom basis, adapting your teaching style to suit each individual
- Implement individual education plans and contribute to the development of the curriculum
- Good knowledge of SEN and a passion for developing pupils in a school setting
- NVQ in Childcare and Education or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (Unqualified Teaching Assistants welcome to apply)
- Experience in supporting social and emotional development and dealing with challenging situations
- Passionate and enthusiastic about teaching and helping pupils
- Able to commute to High Wycombe
- Current valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
