Our prestigious client, a globally recognised manufacturer, is seeking a Development Maintenance Manager to advance the engineering approach of their site.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the preventive maintenance strategy to optimise plant and equipment performance.
- Enhance and implement safe systems of work policy and processes.
- Develop and execute an asset care strategy to drive improvements in site assets.
- Utilise critical thinking and data analysis to engineer out losses and drive improvements.
- Establish user-driven maintenance to enhance production efficiency.
- Implement asset standardization through centralising machinery adjustment.
- Assist in maintenance, repair, and operations inventory planning.
- Establish and manage the site's technical library to improve asset standardization and maintenance management.
- Demonstrated experience as a Maintenance Manager or equivalent in a high-paced manufacturing environment.
- Engineering qualification at HNC or Degree level.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and TPM methodologies.
- Strong operational and financial acumen with budget management capabilities.
- Track record of successful capital project execution and proficient project management skills.
- Familiarity with equipment, suppliers, and service providers.
- Engineering Planned Maintenance Systems.
- Exceptional meeting, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Advanced IT skills, including MS Office suite and proprietary systems.
- Effective time management and planning skills.
- Proven coaching and mentoring capabilities.
- Competitive salary £55,000 – £60,000 depending on experience.
