Job Title: Refurb Plant Engineer

Are you a skilled engineer looking for a challenging role in plant maintenance and refurbishment? Do you have a passion for delivering high-quality results and ensuring the safety of equipment and personnel?

We are seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to join our team at Story Plant. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the refurbishment and upgrade of plant machines and equipment, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs to plant equipment, ensuring that all work is completed to the required standards.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring that all equipment is properly serviced and maintained.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their roles effectively.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment defects, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of personnel.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all plant equipment is properly maintained and serviced, and that all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Computer literate in MS Office suite, Outlook, and plant software package.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance or a relevant subject.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in plant maintenance and refurbishment is desirable but not essential.
  • Full UK driving license.
