Job Opportunity: Rutherford Briant is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Treasury Assistant.

About the Role: As a Treasury Assistant, you will be responsible for managing cash flows, performing bank reconciliations, and preparing payments via online banking systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash flows across multiple entities and currencies.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and coordinate payments via online banking systems.
  • Conduct fortnightly payment runs to ensure timely processing.
  • Assist with month-end activities, including review and clearance of control accounts and monthly analysis reporting for FX hedging.
  • Manage the company's mailbox and respond to ad-hoc queries.
  • Administer online banking systems and manage bank guarantees.
  • Assist with audit queries and provide support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Actively studying towards AAT qualification.
  • Prior experience within an accounting environment.
  • Multi-currency experience is highly desirable.
  • Intermediate Excel skills are required.
