Purchase Ledger Clerk Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. This exciting role will offer a salary up to £27,000 depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process purchase invoices accurately and ensure all invoices are correctly authorised.
  • Carry out monthly supplier statement reconciliations and produce supplier payment runs.
  • Process daily sales invoices and upload them to the accounting system.
  • Post cash to the Purchase and Sales Ledger and perform month-end reconciliations.
  • Prepare daily bank reconciliations and process debit/credit card payments from customers.
Requirements:
  • Experience within a similar Purchase Ledger role is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • A strong working knowledge of MS Excel is necessary.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a high attention to detail are essential.
