Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Navigator to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Navigator, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between patients, doctors, and other clinical and non-clinical staff.

Main Responsibilities

• Receive and welcome patients, providing them with accurate information and guidance.
• Signpost and direct patients to relevant clinical staff and services, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
• Manage patient bookings and appointments, utilizing electronic systems to optimize efficiency.
• Process and respond to messages, both internally and externally, in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide administrative support to medical staff, handling ad-hoc inquiries and tasks as needed.
• Contribute to the reception team, ensuring a smooth and effective day-to-day operation.
• Offer clerical and administrative support to other staff groups, as required.
• Participate in identified training and personal development opportunities, enhancing your skills and knowledge.
• Assist with health promotion and other related activities, as necessary.
• Maintain supplies of essential stationery and administrative materials for the team.
