- Provide essential support to a dynamic food production environment through critical line maintenance, including reactive, proactive, and servicing tasks
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and reporting tools.
- Lead projects encompassing non-capital expenditure modifications, capital expenditure, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Equipment Involved: Milk pasteurization systems, homogenizers, separators, filling machines, cartoners, capping machines, packing equipment, weighing systems, flow wrappers, shrink wrappers, trolley packers, palletizers, de-palletizers, conveyor systems (chain, spiral), robotic systems, vision technology, rejection systems, X-ray inspection units, industrial dryers, refrigeration units, steam generators, water softeners, cooling towers, Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems, air handling units, HVAC systems, water treatment facilities, steam boilers, chillers, and compressors.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:- Strong ambition and motivation
- Experience as a multi-skilled engineer (shift engineer/maintenance engineer/engineering technician) with mechanical, electrical, or true multi-skilled expertise.
- Time-served/NVQ Level 3/ONC/HNC/HND qualified or demonstrated experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Experience with high-speed machinery, pumps, valves, inverter drives, sensors, relays, PLCs (Siemens), site services (steam generation plants, chilled water systems, compressors), and CIP systems (cleaning in place).
- Proficient in computer applications – SAP, Microsoft Office, SCADA, Trend systems, and HMIs.
