Job Title: Trainee Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and pupils in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher with resources and lessons
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Supervise during breaktimes and lunchtimes, ensuring pupil safety and well-being
  • Provide additional support to pupils who require it, helping them to reach their full potential
Requirements:
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Willingness to travel to different schools and locations
  • Overseas criminal clearance or willingness to apply for one
  • Child enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
  • Minimum of six months UK residency
  • We do not accept those on skilled worker visas
  • Please ensure you have references available upon request covering the last 24 months of employment
