About the Role

As an Early Years Practitioner L2, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing engaging activities for children aged 0-5 years old. You will work closely with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment, and develop strong relationships with parents and carers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality educational programs for children, tailored to their individual needs and abilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of children, and promote a culture of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive environment, and contribute to the overall success of the nursery.
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for children.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
