Job Title: Welcome Team Advisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our Welcome Team as a Welcome Team Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our prospective students throughout their journey from application to enrolment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a designated caseload of prospective students, providing guidance and support throughout the application and enrolment process.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with students, parents, and carers, ensuring clear communication and a positive experience.
  • Keep students informed about college activities and opportunities, maintaining a warm and engaged caseload.
  • Liaise with curriculum staff to resolve queries and issues, ensuring data accuracy and administrative requirements are met.
  • Provide clear information to students about the enrolment process, ensuring they are well-prepared and aware of their responsibilities.
  • Process late applications and interviews efficiently, ensuring a quick turnaround from application to enrolment.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths
  • Flexible approach, including ability to work evenings
  • Well-organised, reliable, and approachable
  • Able to work under own initiative and under pressure
  • Outgoing and confident
  • Experience working in a busy office environment and managing a diverse caseload
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent administration skills, with ability to maintain complex records with high accuracy
