We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Groundworker Specialist to join our client's team in Leicester. As a Groundworker Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the construction and maintenance of a new project in Leicester, ensuring that groundwork is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Excavate and prepare sites for various construction projects.
  • Lay foundations and install drainage systems.
  • Operate heavy machinery and tools safely.
  • Interpret and follow engineering drawings and plans.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Groundworker or in a similar role.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Knowledge of construction and groundworks methodologies.
  • Ability to operate machinery and tools effectively.
  • Understanding of safety and environmental regulations.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
