About the Role

Cavendish House Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Underwriter to join our client's Commercial Underwriting team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in underwriting larger and more complex property and liability risks.

Reporting to the Head of Underwriting, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering new business and renewal business to meet or exceed targets
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and brokers
  • Providing expert technical advice and guidance to underwriters and other stakeholders
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve underwriting processes

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in technical underwriting, preferably in the commercial insurance sector
  • Strong technical knowledge of property and liability risks
