Role Summary:
As a Senior Material & Process Engineer, you will leverage your extensive experience to develop, design, and enhance polymer materials and processing techniques utilized across diverse industries. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the evolving demands of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research on polymer and composite materials, focusing on their properties, behaviors, and applications.
  • Formulate new polymer compositions to satisfy specific project needs and industry standards, including product enhancements and process optimizations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in material development and analysis, employing various testing and characterization methods.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to refine polymer processing techniques such as extrusion, molding, and compounding.
  • Identify and implement process improvements while establishing quality control protocols for materials and procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to polymer materials and processes through comprehensive analysis and validation techniques.
  • Engage with interdisciplinary teams to share knowledge and coordinate project efforts effectively.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and project updates to stakeholders.
  • Draft detailed technical documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring effective planning and execution.

Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in reading CAD engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations such as REACH, ROHS, ISO, ASTM, and FDA.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and propose innovative solutions.
  • Experience in project management, with knowledge of MS Project or Primavera being advantageous.
  • Possession of a full clean driving license for travel purposes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to diverse audiences.
  • A collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and learn from others.
  • A proactive attitude with a readiness to engage in hands-on work.

Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years in material development within the polymer or composite industry.
  • Expertise in polymer processing techniques, including extrusion and injection molding.
  • Experience with polymer characterization methods such as thermal analysis and mechanical testing.

Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Polymer Engineering or related fields, with substantial experience in polymers or composite materials.
