Job Title: Electrical Installation Engineer

Electra Networks is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical works and specifications on behalf of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the costing of power installation activities
  • Deliver power services when requested
  • Install all types of telecommunication equipment at customer locations
  • Install equipment cabinets/Racks, including server racks and Vendor specific equipment racks
  • Install equipment within the racks
  • Install all associated cabling, including AC and DC power cabling, Cat 6/Cat 5 Network patching, and Fibre patching
  • Label all cabling in accordance with customer specific standards
  • Fault find and troubleshoot electrical issues
Requirements:
  • Level 3 (NVQ) Diploma in Electro-technical Services (Electrical Maintenance) or equivalent
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Inspection & Testing- 2391-10 qualification or latest equivalent
  • Clean UK driving license
  • Minimum 5 years of active working experience within the data centre/telecommunications environment
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised and meet strict deadlines
