Senior Data Engineer - GCP Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team at Wave Talent. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data systems on GCP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataform, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data systems with cloud-based applications.
  • Develop and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and data governance frameworks.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and governance best practices are followed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies and trends.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in GCP, with a strong focus on BigQuery, Dataform, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
  • Excellent understanding of data warehousing, data governance, and data security.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java.
  • Experience with Airflow, Terraform, and SQL.
  • Regulated environment experience is a plus.
