About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Specifications Writer to join our team at Premier Foods. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality product specifications for our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date product specifications for our products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technical, Procurement, and Regulatory, to ensure compliance with customer and internal policies.
- Generate pack copy data and review artwork to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide technical information and support to internal stakeholders, including manufacturing sites and suppliers.
- Maintain and develop knowledge of retailer and customer requirements to ensure compliance with their specifications.
- Work closely with the manufacturing sites to ensure product and process knowledge is maintained.
- Provide reports and complete questionnaires and databases as required.
Requirements
- Food or Science Based Degree/HND.
- IT Competent with strong communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple fast-paced tasks and projects while delivering results against tight deadlines.
- Ability to transfer data accurately with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work without supervision and on own initiative, self-motivated and driven.
- Organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to align with the company Leadership Values.
