About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team at the University of Oxford. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor Kylie Vincent on a project focused on electrochemical characterisation of tungsten-containing enzymes and their application in biotechnology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct electrochemical characterisation of W-enzymes using cyclic voltammetry and electrolysis
  • Develop and implement in-situ and in-line analytical methods for reaction monitoring
  • Collaborate with the research group to establish feasibility of hydrogen-driven reactions
  • Contribute to the isolation and characterisation of tungsten-containing enzymes

Requirements

  • PhD in Chemistry or a relevant subject area
  • Experience in catalysis, electrochemical approaches, and analytical methods
  • Strong project management and coordination skills

Working Arrangements

The post will be based in the Department of Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory. Part-time working or flexible working arrangements may be possible.
